The Chocolate Line

The Chocolate Line is a truly unique story in the world of chocolate. Dominique Persoone, against all advise from his peers, focussed fully on chocolate products and founded his Chocolate Line line. This quickly became a family affair with the inclusion of his wife Fabienne as the brand’s designer and CEO (and “Big Boss”). Later their Son Julius, who uses the most modern techniques and making cross-industry collaborations with mayor fashion designers, scientists government etc.

This family truly makes The Chocolate Line the most complete chocolate brand: true to Belgian Heritage and extremely forward thinking.

The Chocolate Line Bruges

Their original store where you can find the widest range of products. This store is located right in the center of Brugge, making it a must visit location when visiting the old city centre.

The Chocolate Line Antwerp

Contrasting to The Chocolate Line Bruges, the Antwerp location is located on the city’s biggest shopping street “the Meir” where they reside in “The Palace Of the Meir”. A 1745 masterfull building which Napoleon, king Willem 1 of the Netherlands had resided.

Here the chique Chocolate Line esthetics are complemented by the grandeur of this old Palace (and vice versa). If you you are looking for a chocolate store in Antwerp and interested in the city’s historical buildings, then there is no better place then The Chocolate Line.

The Chocolate Line Factory

Although they do produce and finish some of their creations on site, in their Antwerp and Brugge locations, the bulk of the work is done in their deticated chocolate factory in the outskirts of Brugge. This site, although probably very interesting to visit, is not open for visits due to health and safety. You’ll have to find the products in The Chocolate Line Antwerp, Brugge or one of many collaborations they produce elsewhere!

Committed to Excellence and Sustainability

Not only does Dominique and his family invest heavily in the most modern and quality techniques pushing the industry forward, they also heavily invest in the complete value chain of producing chocolate products.

One mayor example is their own Chocolate Line Cacao fields and distribution locations in Yucatán - Mexico and Virunga - DRC. Here they oversee that farmers and co-workers are payed a fair wag and ensure the farming of the Cacoa bean is done in a way that is sustanable for years to come.
